Wisdom teeth are the last adult teeth. It’s common for these large molars to be too big for your jaws or for them to be misaligned, with the result being potential damage to your other teeth, your gums, and your jaw. We provide wisdom teeth removal services to prevent this damage.
Wisdom teeth are normally removed before they have a chance to break through your gums. This means that they are usually removed in a surgical procedure where incisions are made in your gums and the wisdom teeth are removed through them.
Removal takes place under a local anesthetic and mild sedative.
After your wisdom teeth are removed you may feel pain in the surgical area. You may also experience swelling and some light bleeding. We’ll give you a prescription for pain medication to manage post-surgical pain. You can begin using an icepack 24 hours after surgery to reduce swelling.
